What is ZifCraft?

"ZifCraft" is a mash up of my last name "Zifchak" and "woodcraft." And like many names, it was a placeholder that never got replaced!

Hi! I'm Billy Zifchak and I am a long time hobby woodworker who starterd a side business to justify renting and spending time in my workshop!

I love making things for people. Every project is a new experience and there's nothing better than bringing an idea to life in the most tangible way.  Every picture on this site is of an item that was specifically requested from family, friends, and paying clients going back 20 years.

I love to make small to medium sized products that you couldn't find in a store, and that you need to fill a unique space in your life.

Here's how it works:

Start by submitting a request. I'll receive it and email you back. Then you'll email me back, and I'll email you back. Then you'll email me, and I'll email you... you get it.

We'll discuss everything that I need to know about your project including design, materials and price.

You'll receive an invoice, put 50% down, and I'll make your project. I'll contact you every so often with updates. When I'm finished you'll pay the balance, and I'll ship you your new item. The whole thing should take about 4-6 weeks depending on the scope.

You can use the gallery of my past products for inspiration, or we can invent something totally new.
